The best way to feel good about yourself is to work on yourself. Self-grooming and training is all it takes to cultivate that positive aura all around yourself. When you focus all your energy and emotions on making yourself better and on growing as a person, you tend to move away and in fact, overlook all the negativity around you.
Not only will you spend your time productively, you will in the process discover yourself. Most of our relationships in life fail or are on the verge of failure because we don't know what we want. Strike that chord with yourself before you strike it with someone else. Get to know yourself before you try to get involved with another person.
Ever wondered, why some people seem as if they have it all figured out? Well the first thing you need to know about them is they don't. All they do is not worry about the things they can't control.
You can't control the world, you can't control the people in it, and you can't control their actions. What you can do is control your thoughts. Buddha said "You are what you think". I never really understood the meaning of it right until I realized and experienced the immense benefits of positive thinking for myself.
I know all this sounds cliché. But cliché is cliché for some reason.
Remember, no one in this world can make you feel bad about yourself without your permission. Just don’t let others have that control over you.
