What Is The Glitch in the Matrix Trying To Tell Us?

Have you ever had that uncanny feeling where you feel like you’ve lived this moment before? For a fraction of a second you feel like you just witnessed something that you’ve already seen in the past. Happens, right?  Well obviously you’re not alone. Déjà vu is a complex and strange phenomenon that many of us experience on a regular basis. But have we ever stopped to think what it might really mean?

Is it an Old Memory?

Many scientists and researchers believe that Déjà vu is simply an older memory that is being recreated in front of us. It’s just a set of chemical reactions our brain undergoes when it sees the same set-up once again. I believe recalling a memory from the past is not an unusual activity and shouldn’t feel so spooky. That sudden realization that we’ve been through this exact situation before definitely amounts to something more than a previous recollection.

An Indication of a Past Life

Now I am not going to get into the specifics of multiple lives, but in case you happen to believe that we in fact in a loop of life cycles until we attain salvation, could it be that you just had a preview of your past life? Isn’t it possible that in your previous life you went through a very similar situation that you’re experiencing now?

A knot in the Matrix

The concept of parallel universe is not unknown to us. Many scientists believe in the existence of multiple realities. In that case, Déjà vu might just be an intertwined instance in the web of timelines where the same person from a parallel universe sees the world through your eyes.

Something about déjà vu feels like so strange and yet so familiar that it’s a hard feeling to shake. The factors that make it so intriguing are the reasons why it is so hard to study. What exactly happens and how our mind construes it for that fraction of a second
