Dead People Receive More Flowers than the Living Ones Because Regret Is Stronger Than Gratitude – Anne Frank
These heart pinching yet substantively
true words by Anne Frank come to our minds as we witness the current scenario
relating to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput. While the whole country copes
with the passing away of the treasured actor, his movie Dil Bechara is to be
premiered on 24th July 2020 which has definitely cultivated and
nurtured a separate fan base attributing to the guilt, remorse and sadness we
all feel for Sushant.
Dil Bechara could not have come at a better time. This sweet and entertaining romantic comedy revolves around the life two cancer patients as their love for each other unfolds in the cutest way possible. The film’s trailer was released last week and it was received with open arms and hearts and was showered with endless affection and praises. In fact, the promo trailer broke the world record by becoming the most watched trailer of all times beating Hollywood blockbuster movie Avengers: EndGame by Marvel.
The Dil Bechara title track is
no less. Choreographed by the brilliant Farah Khan and composed by music
maestro AR Rahman just reels you in with its haunting melody and touching
lyrics. The liveliness and purity of
Sushant Singh Rajput is just exceptional. You will not be able to take your
eyes off of him even for a second as he smoothly jazzes his way to the tune of
the song all the while charming everyone with his appealing gazes and dance
moves.
An interesting thing about the
title track is that it was shot in less than a day. Talking about the music
video and the recollecting the moments she cherishes of being with Sushant, Farah
shares, "This song is particularly close to me because it was the first
time I was choreographing Sushant. I wanted the song to be done as a one-shot
song because I knew Sushant would be able to do it perfectly”. She also adds
that she remembers Sushant once coming to a dance reality dance show where she
was judging as a celebrity guest and that's the only time she felt that the
celebrity guest danced way better than the contestants of that show."
This however, is the last movie
starring Sushant Singh Rajput before his sudden yet tragic demise. He left
behind millions of fans heartbroken and shocked when he committed suicide at
his residence in Bandra last month.
His death created an uproar on
various social media platforms raising palpable questions about mental health
well-being and the much debated topic of Nepotism. Social media users since have
been pouring their hearts out regarding the untimely departure of the beloved
and talented actor who fell into the merciless clutches of depression and
anxiety. Many people strongly believe that Sushant chose to end his life as he
was under tremendous stress from not being able to bag any distinguished roles
due to the prevalent nepotism and favoritism in the show biz industry that
makes it very hard for new comers to carve their niche and achieve success.
This encouraged other such Bollywood actors and artists to come and speak up
about the same who feel they have been sidelined and out casted by the “Star
Kids”.
The lead actress in this
movie, Sanjana Sanghi too has captivated the hearts of many. Her innocent yet
remarkable dialogue delivery in the movie seems to have a significant impact on
the audience. Sanjana, who made a debut in this movie says she had grown quite
fond of Sushant and his optimistic nature and that she will always endear those
moments with him. She shares “I see the song and all I can see is how alive,
how happy he looks in it and this song is always going to be very special for
me.”
Dil Bechara is all set to
premiere on the OTT platform Disney Plus Hotstar on 24th July 2020. The
teaser clip clearly hints that it’s going to be an indulgent yet sad romantic
saga. Fans and even movie critics have been positively smitten by the spectacular
charm of both the actors and elegance of this mellifluous love story. Sushant’s
chic and magnificent dance moves, his heroic charisma and innocent and
endearing expressions have truly enthralled the audience in all aspects. The
movie has gained so much momentum that everyone seems to be looking forward to
it eagerly and it’s so heartbreaking that people won’t be able to bid adieu to
the dear actor one last time on the big screen.
Also, this movie is based on
the very famous and adored novel The Fault
In Our Stars by John Green which has been described as a blend of
melancholy, philosophy and realism. The Hollywood motion picture by the same
name starring Ansel Elgort and Shailene Woodley was a massive success at that
time and was labelled as a real “tear-jerker”. So if you’re planning to catch
the show on 24th July be sure to have a bunch of tissues alongside
as its going to a real emotional roller coaster for all of us, particularly now
that we already mourning the loss of Sushant.
